BOOK WORLD! YEAH!

So, as we reach the end of another week, we take a recap of what's been done... So.... "What does this have to do with books?", you ask. Well, a couple of weeks back, well over a month, really... school started... "Ye, Ye! Big news Einstein!", Just hear me out...
So there I was, in a new school, with only 2 known people in my
class... Then I started bonding, and before you knew it, I had made friends... Friends that lived near me( something that happens to me for the first time in my semi-adult life).
Also, the Portuguese teacher wants us to read books, hence why there I used books as a theme...
Because a book can tell a lot about a person revealing to us their choice and sense of what life is.
So what books would you want your family/lover/brother/friend to read? Certainly something you can identify yourself with, because let's face it...whenever you look into the mirror what you want is a female/male equivalent to that. Of course that is a rule, and like every rule there are rare exceptions. So what books do my friends read? I don't care, and if you really like someone you shouldn't judge them by their choices, because like a wise man once said: "Your choices don't define you, in reality it's exactly the opposite. You choose what you like."
Have you recently felt something new? Have you found something about yourself you didn't know? Well that isn't cause you've changed... Time doesn't change us, it only uncovers what we are. That is an ultimate truth and we should get accustomed to that. So, yes, it is true... either you're born gay or you're not(and don't bother asking if I am, 'cause I'm not). So if that is true and most people agree with that, why do people with different tastes get so criticised? If you take a good look at it, it's like kicking someone of a country for not liking vodka, or beer, or tequila. Sure you might say: "Bose and homosexuality are different!", but are they really? DISCUSS!
Now, returning to the friendship topic, I wonder what we will do... Maybe go out on weekends? Time will tell...
Also having a test tomorrow, first one of the school year, those always get one nervous don't they?
Well that's it for me this time, see ya all some other time!
Almost forgot... What are you doing this Halloween? Comments are appreciated!

Thanks,

P.S: There's this girl I like at school, I wonder if she feels the same way... =\

Trending Topics

So, as you all probably know, the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Demo came out a couple of days ago... I, like all PS3 owners with a broadband connection downloaded it. Now that I've had some time with the game i decided to write about it.
The overall graphics on my 1080i HDTV look amazing, and in my opinion, the best so far on this console generation. The game play is very good, with the exception of the controls missing a crouch button, which I think was in the original(haven't played it in a while), though it wouldn't play such a big role as now, due to multiplayer.
The multiplayer is very good with Co-Op for 3 players which is a lot of fun. Then you have up to 10 players on-line( I know that's bad by nowadays standards, but the maps are so nicely designed, with great spawn points, so you will rarely be searching for enemies.)
(My Best Score so far... We lost, but almost won, thanks to me. The names seen in Black are early quits.)

My favourite map in the demo was The Temples, though I also quite enjoyed Ice Cave and The Village. The Co-Op campaign map was awesome, though kinda short, but very enjoyable.
Overall I would give the demo an 8/10, because it fails in not having a single-player level(though it did say people were playing it, i never saw an option), everything you earn WILL be lost in the full game, and the Twitter support(in other words video uploading to naughty dog's website) doesn't work.
However I'll be picking up this game(by Xmas) along side a copy of Modern Warfare 2.

In other news, I might get an XBox 360. A Halo bundle is what I'm considering. See it here. It includes Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach(???). This is a very good pack that should hold till my birth day, a short month after, when I might pick up Gears of War 2 GOTY.
I'll TRY to keep you updated on that, until then check my Twitter Updates, something interesting might appear...

Thanks,

Been a while, huh?

Well, that is due to the fact i got some new games. Three to be precise. Which ones, you may ask? Simply Call of Duty: World at War, Army of Two and finally Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box. And here is my opinion on them:

Call of Duty: World at War:
Very good actually, don't know why people have so many problems with it... Finished the single-player campaign quickly, yet i didn't get two trophies: Stabbed in the Heart(Finish all the Eastern front missions on any difficulty) and War Hero(Finish the game in any difficulty) yet i completed the entire game, anyone knows what that's about? Yet the online is without a doubt the best part, very addictive (that and the Nazi Zombies co-op mode, very fun!!).

Army of Two:
Yeah, never mind the tweet, actually got it after some long thinking. Also good if you have somebody to play with on day-to-day bases you should get it, even if the person you could play with is miles away, you should get it(both, lol). This is very hard( very retro in that kinda way) even on the lowest difficulty level prepare yourself to revive and be revived! Yet the empty online mode and the poor AI on your console partner just makes the game boring after a while(but, hey, maybe the online will get more player before the release of The 40th Day). Also, a little tip, constant comunication is essential.

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box:
Since I din't get the original 2008 version, again, very good finished it quite quickly, yet the online is challenging in all ways, especially for newcomers like myself, who will most certainly get owned if they dont hvae at least the Burnout Driver's Licence unlocked, but even then you'll have a hard time winning vefore you get some practice. A certain gentleman in Baltimore sure knows what I'm talking about (next time i'll win BmoresMenace, that if you dont use DLC) However a problem that i found in Freeburn Marked Man was EA's latest DLC (Big Surf Island), because if you have it and any of the other don't, they can't cross the bridge to take you down (real fair don't you think??) Yet, if you are like me and like Racing Games and don't already have Burnout Paradise, go out and get this game.

Well that's about it, once again i apoligize for being away for so long, yet i think this post should compensate the fact that i was away for so long. Oh!, also me and a phew friends are thinking of making a podcast, spotlighting Videogames, Technology, Music and stuff going around the world. Stay Tuned!
And besides the fact that it's already been said a million times RIP M.J. , it was a thriller indeed...

Some fun facts for you guys!

OK, so I got a phew fun facts for you, this idea actually came up just a little before i started writing this in a Steam chat with Daniel. So there is really not much to say, except, enjoy!
  • Fun Fact #1:

-Did you know that in Portuguese there are two forms of Thank you? "obrigado" e "obrigada", both masculine and feminine, respectively.

  • Fun Fact #2:

-Did you know that in Portuguese when conjugating verbs in sentences you don't have to use the person + the verbal form? In fact, most people do that every day!

  • Fun Fact #3:

-Did you now that pwned was actually a misspell in a Warcraft patch? That happened when a directer misspelled owned, due to the proximity of the characters, whenever you were defeated by a giant monster.(True Story)

  • Fun Fact #4:

-"zomg" is also a misspell from a Warcraft player when trying to use shift writing OMG. It's now used mostly with a tone of sarcasm.

Well that's about it. Hopefully, I'll have more next, Ciao!

Tweetings!

It's kind of a mix between Tweet and Greetings. Why? Because you can now see my twitter updates on my blog. This happens so that I dont have to write that much of a once. Be sure to check it out on a regular bases and follow it, why not?
Also today is kinda poor day for updates, nothing much to say, except that I changed the Blogs Template, but i bet you probably noticed that.
Also I here leave you both my gamertag and my psn id. Gamertag: ShadStalk3r. PSN ID: Shad5talk3r. Both similar, but i hardly ever go to my xbox/pc account, since i dont have a 360, yet. But if you want to have a match on a phew Steam/PC games e-mail me or leave a comment. And i'll tell you what to do.
That's it for this post, be sure to leave a comment, every single one is very apreciated, and dont forget: There IS a RSS feed at the end of my blog, be sure to use it to know something is here earlier then the others! And for the phew of you who don't know what an RSS feed is it's something that is sent to your e-mail adress whenerver something happens, in this case a post, but to use it you need to setup your Outlook(could be done in 5 minutes). Hope that was helpfull!

Thanks,
5had0w5talk3r

-----EDIT-----

You don't actually need Outlook to have the RSS feed, you can simply subcribe to it and you will have it on your web browser( I use Internet Explorer 7, but with others it should be similar), it should appear on your Bookmarks or on any menu.

Thanks, Again,

FIRST!!!!!!

Well, it's not easy to know what to write in your very first post. I'll just go with some updates on what has been going on these last couple of weeks if either: a) you don't know me in person; or b) you've been living in a cave.
Well, recently i've just finished another school year(senior year at my school), wich means that a whole lot of the peolpe i've loved, learned to love, or even loved to hate are gonna get behind all my life. Except for a phew wich are actually going to the same school as I am.
This years edition of the EPT(European Poker Tour) has finished, and as poker fan, it sadens me. That leaves me with: a)Poker with friends; b)The Poker Channel on TV; c)PKR on the Internet; and d)Poker on the EA Sports Complex in PlayStation Home.
Other things close to finishing are two of my favourite Machinimas on the Internet: The Leet World; and Arby and The Chief. The first is due to the leaving of one of it's directors(and cast members) to a job in another part of the US. It will be a heavy miss inside of me since the studio, SmoothFewFilms will never be the same. The second although not confirmed could already be over as it's director DigitalPh33r( now it's joncjg, but for me it will allways be DigitalPh33r) said.
E3 this year is over and boy was it juicy. Incredible games from all companies. And though Sony's games where better, Microsoft's presentation was better, but hearing One Vision by Queen was sweet(Thank You Sony!). I must say that the games i'm more hyped about are: Assassin's Creed II, Modern Warfare 2, ModNation Racers(This one was really sweet), The Magic Wand(PS3 peripheral, it looked superior to both project Natal and the Wii Motion+), Halo Reach, MAG, Ratchet and Clank Future, God of War 3....(well the list goes on, but i didnt want to bore you). But it is my opinion that if you are a self-respected gamer this year you must get the PS3, the list of esclusives just quicks the competition out of the shelves. But you should be satified this year, indepently on what system you have.
Returning to me, I'm thinkin about getting two new games(Both for the PS3). The first is defenetivly Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, since i didn't get the original 2008 edition. It's the second I'm having truble with. I'm thinking of: Ghostbusters, inFamous, Red Faction Guerrilla, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, Ninja Gaiden: Sigma, Army of Two, The Orange Box, Call of Duty: World at War or Metal Gear Solid 4. To me it's important that it has trophies and online. Any Ideas??
Well i'm all out of things to say, but i'll catch y'all next time on my post wich will possibly be a little happier.

Thanks,
5had0w5talk3r.
